Traffic Shaping on Park Lawn / Glenellen

Several months ago some very nice neighbours came by asking for our support in getting a traffic study done on Glenellen Drive East. We quickly signed up.

Traffic is pretty heavy on this side street as it is a direct link with only one stop sign between Prince Edward and Park Lawn. People like to skip going across Berry Road.

It doesn't help that Garmin likes to route you across Glenellen and down to Riverwood Pkwy to get to the Queensway more quickly.

I've just noticed today that the city has put sensor strips across Park Lawn just north of the turn west onto Glenellen. Perhaps grassroots movements actually work?
